EISA is the European world renowned association that has for more than 30 years been recognising and awarding the best products in six sound and imaging categories.

Each year in June this group that has over the years grown to 50 special interest magazines from 20 European countries, decide which product deserves their prestigious EISA Award.

In the photography category, which is divided up into 12 specialised designs, one camera is selected as the best of the best in each field for that year.

At their annual meeting in April this year in Hong Kong, the association voted for the best photographic imaging products in 2013.

This association comprises of 27 member magazines and the Camera Journal Press Club of Japan.

Each year the TIPA General Assembly select the best photo and imaging products in 40 categories

These yearly awards are what every manufacturer in the photographic industry hopes to receive for their product.

This year the Nikon D7100 is the recipient of the best DSLR Advanced camera award.
