Why buy the Samsung Video Baby Monitor?
Pros and Cons

Samsung is a well-known brand name in electronic devices and have come up with a modern and stylish looking video baby monitor that would look good in any home. It has a good sized 3.5" screen and utilizes the latest digital frequency hop technology so you can be guaranteed an interference free and secure signal. Users have raved about how "awesome" the picture quality is not only during the day, but at night. At just over $150 (correct at time of writing) this monitor offers good value for money.
However, there have been a few recurring complaints. The main one is that the temperature gauge/sensor is incorrect, at least 10 degrees warmer than the actual room temperature. Then there was problems with the sound sensitivity sensor. It seems that the alarm goes off at the slightest sound and because it's hard to adjust, users had to turn it right down or off completely.
Some users felt that there were too many features on this unit and ones such as the night light, music and temperature gauge were not used and a waste. The reasons given were that the built-in lullabies sounded tinny and were annoying, the night light was too bright and as mentioned above, the temperature gauge was incorrect.
Even though some customers were dissatisfied with this monitor, many others were more than happy with the great picture quality and features.

A new range of 4 hi-tech monitors

Early in 2011, Samsung Techwin America introduced a new range of video baby monitors, the Samsung BabyView baby monitors; the Samsung EZView, the Samsung RemoteView, the Samsung SmartView and the Samsung SecureView. They have been designed for today's tech-savvy parents, allowing them to not only keep their baby safe and secure, but able to share their joy with friends and family. According to Samsung, the BabyView baby monitors provide unmatched technology, reliability and simplicity.
They further state that the Samsung BabyView baby monitors' advanced capabilities far surpass the current market offerings. For the first time, parents can share audio and video of their baby or infant with friends and family via social networking web sites such as Facebook and Twitter using the built-in SD card technology that allows video captured from the monitor to be easily uploaded to sites such as Youtube.
All four of the BabyView baby monitors come with standard features, but have different screen sizes and functions. I've created a Samsung BabyView baby monitors comparison table so you can see the functions and features at a glance. You can also read my reviews.
