What is the Best Phablet on the Market 2013?
How do you use a Phablet Smartphone Tablet?
Phablets cater to people that need phone capabilities but want a larger screen than on smartphones. They also want more portability than a tablet can provide. These people do not want to carry multiple devices, so they want their tablet and smartphone to be the same device.
The screens on phablets make it easier to enjoy media. Phablets are more powerful than smartphones, being large enough to fit powerful processors. Everything should be better on a phablet than on a smartphone due to its larger size. Phablets also have large batteries so talk times should be long and standby time should be comparable to tablets.
The large size has drawbacks. If you have small hands, you might have a harder time handling the device. You might also want to decide if you are okay with a phone that covers half your face.
The price can be expensive. Phablets bought without a contract can run as high as $800. You pay a premium for phone connectivity, so do your research before finding the best phablet to buy and look for deals on activation plans.

Know what to look for when buying a phablet
The screen is important, especially if you are going to spend a large amount of time viewing media. Look for HD displays. Some screens have subpar viewing angles, so twist the device around and make sure you can see a picture from all angles.
Resolution is important. The more pixels per inch, the better. Devices are debuting with over 400 ppi. Anything around 326 ppi matches the retina display on Apple's IPhone. Remember, the higher the resolution, the easier it is on the eyes.
Processor power is also key to finding the right device. You want to make sure that your phablet will still be able to handle the programs created 2 years from now. A phablet that allows for expandable memory will allow you to download all of the media that you want. If you use a phablet for work, you want to make sure that the battery will last an entire work day, or at least twelve hours.

What phablets are available to buy right now (January 2013)?
Currently, there are few phablets available, though that is about to change. Following is a list of the best phablets to buy and when they are available.
New Phablets coming in 2013:
Sony Experia Z: Expected Q1 2013. Has a 5 inch HD LCD display at 441 ppi. 2 GB RAM and 16 GB memory expandable to 64 GB. Has a stunning 13 MP camera with 2 MP front camera. Battery will last up to 13 hours talk time. Will have a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. One big selling point for this device is that it will be waterproof, so it might appeal to the adventurous type. Prices TBD.
Lenovo K900: A beautiful 5.5 inch HD display at 401 ppi. Scheduled for April 2013. Lenovo is bypassing the Snapdragon S4 in favor of an Intel 2 GHz Atom processor. Sleek and modern with expandable memory and a good camera. Price TBD. This could be the one of the best phablets to buy in 2013.
Samsung Galaxy Grand: This is the cheaper cousin of the Galaxy Note. It has a 5 inch screen at 187 ppi. With a dual-core processor and 8 MP camera, it is obvious that Samsung is aiming at the budget consumer by basically giving us the poor man's Galaxy Note. I would pass on this one as it has a poor ppi, which is very noticeable on a large screen.
