Tablets: Samsung Galaxy Tablet

What You Can Do With This Samsung Tablet

Obviously you can carry it anywhere, so you can have anywhere your internet access. But there are much more uses for it including:

1) It serves as GPS system.

2) It can store 16 gb of data, enough for movies and music and photos.

3) You can use it as a camera substitute with its 3 megapixel back camera and 2 megapixel front camera

4) Internet anywhere you go which pretty much means no need to rush home to a pc as your web addiction starts giving you twitches

+ With a dual core 1.2ghz processor this phone is exceptionally fast. I've never used such a speedy device, even with ten applications open the S II shows no signs of%u2026 - Battery is not as bad as on some phones I have used, including the original Galaxy S. But it starts to drop quickly when using it for games and browsing. All modern%u2026

Good points:
Nothing on the web can do the Super Amoled Plus screen justice, no videos or pictures or description can come even close to how awesome this screen really is...you just have to go down to the nearest stockist and see a demo. The speed and the fluidity of the Android OS and the 1.2ghz dual core chip really sells this for me. since I've had my galaxy S2, I've been showing off the features to my iphone 4 owning friends and making em cry! Since a firmware upgrade I've noticed that the battery life has improved by a third since release. The build quality is quite tough despite the bendy plastic back plate; and even this can be resolved with a purchase from a third party parts stockist. The OS is incredibly intuitive; with the screens scrolling smoothly and quickly. Apps loaded very quickly with no issues. In fact I tried everything to get this phone to stutter or at least trip a little but to no avail, it took everything and just smiled and kept going. The 8 mega pixel Camera is amazing in that the quality of even the shots taken by me (a club carrying neanderthal) was simply brilliant, something you would expect from a mid to high end dedicated Camera and not one bolted onto a phone! The 1080p video capture is as advertised, smooth clear and unbelievably vivid. Believe the reviews! this phones is absolutley awesome.
Bad points:
er...um...darn there should be something.....hang on i'll think of something in a sec....hmmm ok ultimate nitpicking mode set to on. The back plate as previously mentioned is too flimsy for my taste but like I said before, one trip to the third party phone parts shop and the problem's resolved. also if you are new to smart phones (ie been living in a cave for the past 10 years...osama bin laden? you listening..oh wait...) then the system can seem daunting at first, but I stress "at first" because I honestly believe that anyone will find the interface intuitive within a few minutes of playing around with it (sts). About the camera (8 meg pixel NOT the vga front camera):the lack of a dedicated camera button might be irksome to some users, especially if their last phone provided a button for this, but they should be able to get used to the onscreen button. Lastly, the delay between you pressing the button and the phone actually snapping the shot can be frustrating as many a great moment has been lost because of this, hopefully a firmware upodate will resolve this issue.

If you are looking for a tablet, but Samsung Galaxy price is a bit over the top, you may want to consider Archos Arnova ( My Review of Archos Artnova )
