We have seen last year 2011 how Samsung was crowned the No.1 smartphone manufacturer of the year 2011 for the best phone "Samsung Galaxy S2" and also took another title as No.1 Android mobile phone manufacturer for the same year in UK. This is a great achievement for a mobile phone manufacturer who has very touch competitors such as Apple and Nokia.

Looking into the current trend, Apple seems to be dominating the mobile phone industry with their latest gadgets such as the Apple iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and 3 and the iMac's. Even though Apple is dominating the market, Samsung is not going to let it go very easily and will give a bigger challenge to the Apple iPhone 5 with their flagship handset Samsung Galaxy S3.

We have seen the two bigger giants Microsoft and Google both releasing their own versions of Mobile Operating Systems namely Windows Phone OS and Android respectively. Google seems to be dominating the mobile OS market with Android with 38% of the market share. Android was voted as the No.1 OS for Samsung Galaxy S2 and with the latest updates 4.0.3, Google releases the new Android OS called the Ice Cream Sandwich which would be 30% more efficient that the v2.3.4 (Gingerbread) on the Galaxy S2.

With the launch of smartphones such as the Galaxy Nexus and HTC One X running on the latest Android OS (Ice Cream Sandwich) it is reported for leaked informations that Samsung Galaxy S3 would carry the Android OS Ice Cream Sandwich in-order for the phone to compete with the rest of the competing handsets. This information is not officially released by Samsung, but rather a predicted information from various leaked sources and updates online.

When Samsung Galaxy S2 was released it carried the Exynos chipset and dual-core 1.2 GHz processor giving the phone the smoother look and feel during its operation. Android OS Gingerbread done a brilliant job in keeping the phone reputation in place and as a result the predication for the new samsung phone Samsung Galaxy S3 would be a faster processor to be crowned again the handset of the year.

With the release of the new official Exynos 4212 chipset, reported to be 30% more efficient than the Galaxy S2 processor, Samsung Galaxy S3 could possibly have the new Exynos processor and an update reported to have Quad-core processor like that of the HTC One X and other smartphones. These are just few predictions but yet to be confirmed when Samsung makes and official declarations of the specifications of the awaiting hadset.

Samsung Galaxy 2 had one of the best memory and display such as the Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors with 16GB internal memory and 1GB RAM. We have also seen the Apple iPhone 4S also has 16GB internal memory and has the latest A5 chipset with iOS 5 making one of the faster handset to date. For Samsung Galaxy S3 to be the most competitive it has to have a higher spec than the current smartphones memory and display specifications in the market.

It is reported from leaked sources that Samsung Galaxy S3 could have 4.8" widescreen, Full HD 1080 pixel resolution with Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16M colours. Unlike the Apple Retina display concept, Samsung have to come up with a brilliant idea to hit the grounds hard into this smartphone war.

Let's all wait and see what Samsung has got to offer to these demand-able consumers who has these two specs (Display & Memory) as the top two priority requirements for their dream handset.

When you ever thing of buying your smartphone either on a contract or pay as you go, your think of the camera spec first then any other features. This is one of the most wanted spec for the latest smartphones where we have seen handsets competing with megapixel cameras such as 5MP, 8MP, 12MP and the most amazing one is the Nokia Lumia 808 with 41MP camera.

It is unofficially reported that Samsung Galaxy S3 will be build in with 12MP camera that would be more than enough in a smartphone to take quality, smooth and sharper images and videos. We never know Samsung might be bringing a totally new technology and new megapixel all together in the new Samsung Galaxy S3 handset.

During our research we have seen some of the design concepts that predicts how the new Samsung Galaxy S3 will look like and may have.
